The Hidayah Quranic Centre is a community-based project to bring the understanding of the Holy Quran to the hearts of the Ummah. The centre seeks to encourage and develop the community in putting the Holy Quran as their main source of knowledge and constitution of life.

Why study Quran? Hadhrat Uthman (RA) narrates that Rasulullah (SAW) said:
"The best amongst you is he who learns the Quran and teaches it."

Why study Arabic?
Arabic is sacred: it is the language of the Quran, the language of the Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace), and the language of authoritative scholarly works in every religious discipline.
Muslims have been learning Arabic for centuries with this sacred goal in mind. Non-Arab Muslims—such as the Turks, the Persians, and the Indians—have formulated rigorous methods of teaching their children Arabic so that they can directly access sacred religious texts mainly the Holy Quran and their wording while prayer (solat) and supplication (do’a). These methods have stood the test of time and produced thousands of top-notch scholars.

Quran Class
Course Coordinator: Bro Nazril Al-Hafiz Tajweed (Quran Recitation) is an Arabic word meaning proper pronunciation during recitation, as well as recitation at a moderate speed. It is a set of rules which govern how the Quran should be read. It is derived from the triliteral root j-w-d, meaning to make well, make better and perfect.
The course will focus on the recitation and the proper pronunciation of the students. The tutor will also encourage the students to develop their awareness about understanding the verses they read.
Stage offered: Iqra' Reading classes - Beginners Quran Reading classes - Intermediate Quran Memorising classes (Tahfeez)- Advance
The followings are the surah/juzu’ for every stages:
2. Intro to Arabic Lang. focuses on speaking, writing, reading and listening skills, basic knowledge of grammar and conversation. 3. Class just started on 4 October 2009 and continues every Sunday 1:00-2:00 pm (Brothers) & 3.30pm - 4.30pm (Sisters) at Islamic Dawah Centre 5/121 Grange Road Allenby Gardens SA.
